Original IT Wiring/Setup
IT Architect Douglas Clark of ITCentral and the Owner of Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, Tim Doherty, met
to discuss plans to add, update and secure all of the IT needs for the
dealership’s three-building property in Kansas City, Missouri's northland.
The need for an architectural plan was necessary to move forward, as some of the buildings had existing wiring from the 1970’s.
New technology and wiring had been added to the existing through the years, “piecemealing” the functionality and effectiveness of the businesses current IT needs.
Architect and CEO Douglas created an architectural design, which was presented to the owner of Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram. The design included 24/7 SOC-2 security and N-Able monitoring, replacing TVs, phone systems, adding all new wiring to connect the three facilities, replacing and updating pre-existing work stations and installing new ones, adding an audio, visual and sound system with sub-woofers, speakers and controls for quality sound in all three zones. A temporary fiber network was installed
across the service parking area to connect all buildings during construction
The job timeline projection has been aligned with the dealerships need during building addition phases. The anticipated timeframe to complete the proposed IT architecture is five months. ITCs plan was accepted by Tim Doherty at Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram, and this major IT project began onsite in April 2022 and was completed by August 2022.
ITC Architect Douglas said, “This is one of the largest projects we’ve taken on that has multiple areas and buildings. This automotive dealership will be up to date, state-of-the-art, monitored by our partners N-Able with 24/7 Adlumin SOC-2 security when we're all done."

Replaced computer monitors, systems, printers and scanners for 21 offices and service bay areas

Configured printers access to Cox applications

Installed new hardware and software, systems, printers, scanners, networks and phone systems for all cubicles, office spaces and waiting area in newly constructed area
